20in x 20in
Acrylic, Oil
Note from the artist:
Floating in the void, longing for an answer, they search for any semblance of direction. I think this is what being lost in life feels like. The background is Black 4.0, the darkest matte black, with the eyes painted in oil.
The eyes can’t see one another, except the center eye, which looks right at you. It urges you to consider your purpose, asking, “Have you found it yet?” “Can you tell me what mine is?”
Maybe we don’t have a purpose. Maybe we create our own. Regardless, look within yourself instead of around you, and perhaps you’ll find one.
