This is one of my pieces from 2022!
I found my love for art after therapy sessions. I’ve always enjoyed creating, but never had a direction or style. I found that after enough pieces, it began developing. “Baelien” was a take on my “drip drop” style, where I would mix mod podge with acrylic paint, and then cover the shapes with mica powders and foils. During this time, I really got into experimenting with these elements and matte paints.
I pictured this painting hanging up in a girly-pop alien’s room, in a galaxy far, far away.
